MDK Fleet — Multi-Host IN DEVELOPMENT — V2

Multiple hosts managed from one central console, with automatic placement (broker), a host API, app inventory, and central aggregation of clients. Per-host licences.

MDK Station — Same Machine IN DEVELOPMENT

Local multiseat: multiple users on the same physical machine, each with their own separate keyboard, mouse and monitor — separate seats on one PC.

MultiDeskKore at a glance

The facts, plainly stated.

What it does

One Windows host runs several independent desktops at the same time. Each user connects to their own desktop and works in their own session, with their own files. Sessions share one operating system — they are not separate virtual machines.

How users connect

Remote Desktop (RDP) over the local network, from a compatible PC or thin client. Version 1 is local-network use; reaching the host over the internet from outside is planned, not shipped.

What counts as a seat

One seat is one enabled user account on one licensed host — not a concurrent connection, and not a physical workstation. The host user (console admin) does not count as a seat. Example: a lab with 20 computers and 100 enabled student accounts needs 100 seats, even though only 20 students can be connected at once.

Verified operating system

Windows 10 Pro, version 22H2 — the configuration MultiDeskKore was tested on. Windows 11 compatibility has not yet been verified, and we do not claim it.

What is not included

No hardware, no Windows licence, and no application licences — those are separate and remain your responsibility. There is no monthly subscription: licences are one-time purchases.

Tested, not promised

In the pilot test on 25 October 2026, 4 concurrent user sessions ran at the same time alongside the console administrator on a 12 GB virtual machine (Windows 10 Pro 22H2). The console preview on this page is an illustration, not a measurement. How many sessions your host can run depends on its resources and your workload — test yours before choosing a seat count.
